Meghan Markle regrets about her departure from Royal family: Expert

Meghan Markle feels regretful about how her departure from the Royal family unfolded four years ago, said Royal expert Kinsey Schofield.
Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, left royal life in 2020, causing a significant and ongoing rift.
Schofield told Fox News that Meghan regrets some of her statements, which were not received as she had hoped and led to backlash. She also expressed remorse over the Royal racist controversy discussed in their Oprah interview, which Meghan intended to focus on her mental health.
The Duchess of Sussex also reportedly regrets her interview with The Cut, which gave her critics more material to comment on.
During their Oprah interview, Meghan and Harry revealed that concerns had been raised about the potential skin color of their baby, Archie.
Currently, Meghan lives in a $14 million mansion in Montecito, California, with Harry and their two children. She is building a business portfolio, including investments in around 10 brands, and has recently invested in Cesta Collective, a female-founded handbag brand. Meghan is also working on launching her own lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which she hopes to release later this year.
Schofield described Meghan’s life in California as “isolated but structured,” with a small, selective circle of friends who offer personal or professional value. Meghan values trust and privacy, and while she appears to have moved on from past conflicts, there is still underlying resentment that influences her recent work, according to the Royal expert.
Despite Harry’s recent visit to the UK for his uncle’s funeral, Schofield does not expect Meghan to return to Britain soon. She noted that Harry and Meghan’s visits without engaging with the Royals only emphasise their estrangement and attract negative attention.
Schofield believes that if American Riviera Orchard becomes successful, Meghan will find fulfillment in her work.
