Mercedes-AMG C63 SE Performance launched with world’s most powerful 4-cylinder engine!
Mercedes-Benz has introduced the AMG C63 SE Performance in India, thus expanding its AMG lineup. Priced at Rs 1.95 crore, ex-showroom, this is the third AMG launch from the German manufacturer this year. Bookings for the model have commenced today with deliveries slated for April next year. Interestingly, it also offers an exciting ownership opportunity, with new buyers set to receive training at the Nürburgring to master its handling on the racetrack. Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 SE Performance: Engine
The C63 SE Performance is powered by a hybrid setup that delivers an impressive combined output of 680 hp and 1020 Nm of torque. Under the hood is a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle. The motor alone delivers a peak output of 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque. Notably, the 4-cylinder power plant housed in this model is the most powerful unit in the world.

This combination, channeled through a 9-speed automatic transmission and Mercedes’ 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system, enables the car to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. This car can achieve a top speed of 280 kmph. The model offers eight driving modes, including “Race” and “Electric,” adapting to different driving conditions and preferences.
Despite its power focus, the C63 S E Performance provides an electric-only range of 13 km, supported by a 6.1 kWh battery pack and a 3.7 kW onboard charger.

Visually, the AMG C63 S E Performance distinguishes itself from the standard C-Class with its muscular, vertically-slatted grille, aggressive bumpers, and quad-tip exhaust. Optional 20-inch alloy wheels and a distinctive rear diffuser add to the sporty character. At 4,841mm in length and 1,900mm in width, the car is larger than its standard sibling, while the wheelbase has been increased by 10 mm.
Inside, the gets a 12.3-inch infotainment display with MBUX system, Burmester surround sound, and AMG-specific digital clusters. It also offers features such as a panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone integration, ADAS, AMG sports seats, carbon-fiber trim, and red ambient lighting.
